Position Title: Sales Representative / Pharma Sales Executive Provides high-level customer service and field sales support in a manner that assures regulatory compliance, promotes revenue generation, and is highly accurate.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
With a high level of accuracy, sense of urgency and professionalism, the Sales Representative:
Implements the company's marketing and sales strategy and manages the promotions and sales effort of a product or certain group of products within a specific defined territory
Prepares a call plan and regularly visits a specific set of target medical or health professionals, as defined by the marketing plan, who are regular or high potential users of the company's products
Provides relevant and updated information about the company's products to target medical and health professionals
Responds and follows up on phoned, faxed and emailed requests and orders.
If applicable (e.g. medical devices), executes domestic sales orders
Responds to requests from customers and sales staff.
Records complaints in compliance with company procedures.
Produce reports as requested by sales staff and management.
Captures customer leads and produce reports as needed.
Addresses first line technical support questions and ensures more complex questions are routed to the appropriate internal employee in a prompt manner.
General administrative duties and special projects as may be requested from time to time.
Qualifications:
Graduate of at least a four (4) year college course, ideally, but not necessarily in the health sciences or in business/marketing.
Adaptability in a fast-paced, start-up environment highly desirable.
Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Flexibility and ability to quickly adapt to changes resulting from a dynamic and growing business environment. Ability to quickly grasp and embrace new business and transactional processes and procedures, work rapidly and accurately under pressure.
Positive attitude and professional demeanor.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Computer literate, experienced user of Excel, Word, Outlook.
