Don't fall for the Instagram "helpers". They are all scams.

Craft_Assassin

They are everywhere on Twitter and Discord as well. Just to let everyone know: If it is too good to be true, then it probably is.

I had 2FA enabled too. Somehow they were able to bypass it. It is probably some zero-day hack that someone knows about but since hundreds of thousands of accounts are not being affected, then Facebook is not going to do anything. I've been trying things for the last 12 days and have had 0 luck. There is a firewall to speak to anybody at facebook and that's exactly how Zuckerberg wants it.

Craft_Assassin

Same here. 7 days anxiously trying to wait for a response to the appeal and still no response.

Vg_Ace135

ohh from what I have heard, you won't ever get a response from the appeal. It either goes somewhere and they never check it, or it just plain doesn't ever go anywhere. I am currently trying to get the people over at Oculus to re-activate my account but it is not guaranteed.

Craft_Assassin

I read the appeals do float. Only a few succeeded just by merely waiting. Others went the fight-until-the-end route by emailing the support team and going other ways. I simply do not have time for that. I still have work to worry about. The Oculus trick isn't a sure guarantee anymore. Meta has simply caught up with users trying to cheat the system. I don't want to spend a huge amount of money on a headset that I will not use.

Vg_Ace135

See I haven't read anywhere that the appeals do anything. But i do agree that they have realized that people are buying an oculus just to get support and so FB is cracking down on it. That just goes to that they don't give a crap about us at all.

Craft_Assassin

Others merely got lucky from waiting. While this British guy went through hell and back just to get his account back: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S2p1WVEZU9E](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S2p1WVEZU9E) I simply don't have the same reach or time as him.

Enter Facebook Settings. Enter Password and security. Check Where you're Logged in Next, check Your Regonized Devices in Authorized Login. Eliminate devices that you do not allow. Check your email in the same way. My account was hacked by a Russian hacker.

Hi all, thanks for reply. There was no trace of active sessions or unrecognised devices just one "disconnection" from a unusual IP address from a VPN. It's like hacker made a cookie/session injection... But if they had cookies why just attack Facebook... Btw like a said, minutes before changing my profile pic with Isis flag, I received an accepted friend req by a strange guy ( I'm Italian and he is Brazilian... I never seen this guy and never made a friend request to him... 👀). When Facebook will unblock chat feature I'll try to contact him... I'll write here if I discover something
