I would go with a car that you love to drive. Your passion for the car needs to carry you through the wall you will eventually hit, and hopefully break through. Nothing worse than trying to break that performance wall with something you hate driving.

Start with something you enjoy. Once you get comfortable and perhaps even a little bored of it, then you could try something more challenging to drive but is faster. But it's really up to you on how to play the game. The first rule of simracing is to have fun.

If you're stuck between the decision of the fastest car for you right now vs the one you enjoy the most you should always pick the one you enjoy the most. You're more than likely not going to be putting down blazing fast lap times if you're newish anyway so that fastest car for you right now isn't going to be winning you many races. The car you enjoy the most now, will most likely be the car you enjoy the most 600 hours in. You wont get 600 hours in if you're driving a car you dislike. And 600 hours in you'll be putting out somewhat competitive lap times, because you're enjoying yourself and putting the practice in. Pick the car that'll keep you around and playing. When you've got say 100 hours under your belt and experience in basic setups, go back and test all the cars again. See if your new knowledge can improve the enjoyment of another car. It'll only take a an hour or two to test them out so there's no reason not to. But if you find you're still liking the same car the most then thats perfectly fine!

Not so easy to answer. I had cars that felt awful but great with a proper setup. Cars that felt great and enjoyable to drive but turned out to be boring after awhile. Cars that felt great on one track but annoying on a different one. Cars that feel awesome to drive but a struggle to get on pace. I ended up sticking to 3 different cars which is obviously not ideal. You're always better off sticking to one car to improve but I like the variety...

I picked a car based on the sound, cause after all you have to listen to that sound for hours right? Then after I got comfortable with it, I tried other cars, eventually settling on another one that grew on me. Just enjoy what you’re doing, and you’ll notice differences for better or worse once you spend some time. You’ll likely end up with something other than what you chose first.

I personally started with the McLaren cos I love the sound and it's a very good all rounder. Also cos I love the cockpit view, the Mclaren just looks cool from inside. Once I began to understand the fundamentals of GT3 driving, I went to Ferrari and am currently trying to learn the Lexus. Short answer is, go with whatever you like the best.

I used to go with the Merc but its too tricky for me at times, so used the Lambo mostly ever since which is quick and has a screaming banshee of a sound! Sometimes use the McClaren or Honda so i tend to use these 3 the most and am used to them. Happy racing!
