- Learn to speak English fluently. One of the major qualifications to become a call center agent is excellent communication skills. Start by speaking slowly in a professional voice without stammers.
- Learn to be an effective negotiator to reach a solution to satisfy both the client and the customer.
- Learn how to use the computer. Cut down on spending time with your friend’s Facebook timelines and start familiarizing yourself with computer jargons including the technical sides of it.

There are also call centers that require the agents to come few minutes earlier to be able to login to the system and prep up for customer calls.
