Date Posted: Apr 6, 2011

Convergys Philippines, the largest business process outsourcing (BPO) company in the country is in need of thousands of employees again as they open their new sites in Baguio City and Cebu City this year.

Baguio City is one of the fastest rising business district in the Northern part of the country which is also considered as one of the city that produces talented and skillful Filipinos. The new Convergys site in Baguio is now being constructed at the Asiatown IT Park which will start its operation in the middle or late this year.

On the other hand, Convergys will also open its fourth site in the Queen City of the South, Cebu. As we all know, some Cebuanos might have difficulty in speaking in Tagalog but their English communication skills is exceptional.

“The largest BPO provider in Cebu City and in the Philippines is getting even bigger,” said Marife Zamora, Philippines Country Manager and Managing Director, Asia Pac/EMEA for Convergys.

“Our continued growth is due to the extraordinary support provided by our employees in Cebu and throughout the Philippines to our major international clients. This type of unrivaled service is why our clients continue to specifically request the Philippines as the location for their critical customer support operations and why we continue to meet and exceed our client’s expectations every day.”

Convergys employees are given above minimum compensation packages aside from the perks, monthly and yearly bonuses and paid vacations.
