MRT 7 in Bulacan to Create 10,000 Jobs

Date Posted: May 12, 2010

Good news await people in Bulacan as 10,000 job opportunities will be offered upon constructing and opening of the newest Metro Rail Transit (MRT) 7 by early next year.

Local government of San Jose, Bulacan announced last April 30, that they have agreed to sign a cooperation accord that would lead the way for the construction of MRT 7 next year that would give employment opportunites to the city residents and to fulfill the city’s K4 program.

The proposed MRT 7 would span from North Avenue in Quezon City to San Jose Del Monte City where the terminal would be put in place.

The new MRT terminal would not only give employment to the people of Bulacan but would also help ease the transportation dilemma of passengers who used to travel from Manila to Bulacan vice versa and to lighten the traffic in EDSA.
