Local and Overseas Jobs Available at Mega Job Fair ‘10

After the success of the recently concluded Mega Job Fair 2009, WorkAbraod.ph in partnership with the city government of Marikina and Philippine Employment Service Office (PESO) brings back the Mega Job Fair 2010 on February 12, 2010, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Marikina Sports Park Sta. Elena, Marikina City.

For this year, organizers of the Mega Job Fair headed by WorkAbroad.ph promised that this latest career event will be way bigger and better from the previous Mega Job Fair in terms of the number of participating companies and agencies.

“We got a lot of sign ups from our valued agencies that are very excited to recruit highly competitive Filipino workers,” said Rhea Suiza, brand manager of WorkAbroad.ph

Thousands of jobseekers flocked at Marikina Sports Park last year hoping that the job opportunity that they’ve all been waiting for will finally knocks on their door.

“We are expecting that due to the success of the Mega Job fair last year the number of job applicants  for Mega Job Fair 2010 will double,” Suiza added.

Some of the job vacancies that will be offered are call center agents, hotel and restaurant staffs, nurse, engineers, housekeepers, etc.

The Mega Job Fair 2010 will be attended by direct-hire companies and local and overseas recruitment agencies, trusted and accredited by the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA).

Moreover, the government of Marikina is encouraging families with unemployed members to apply through their “Two Jobs Per Family Program” which aims to give jobs to 2 members of the family.

This career event is open to all jobseekers 18 years old and above who is either high school, college undergraduate or graduate. All jobseekers are asked to prepare their most recent and comprehensive bio-data or resume with 2x2 picture attached or scanned.

All jobseekers are also advised to be in a proper attire and refrain themselves from wearing inappropriate clothes and apparel such as shorts, sandos and slippers.
