Hong Kong Garment Firm Needs 900 Workers

Hong Kong’s leading apparel company, Ace Style Intimate Apparel Ltd. announced that they will hire 900 workers as the demand for international market, particularly in the increases.


Ace Style needs to strengthen their workforce for three to six months amid the seasonal surge in demand from US for the company’s high end lingerie.


“American buyers had reverted to the on renewed confidence because of a pending bill in the Congress granting preferential duties for Philippines-made garments and apparel fro export to the ,” said Confederation of garment Exporters in the Philippines Inc. executive director Marites Agoncillo.


“The company is hiring 900 workers for the seasonal surge lasting for three to six months normally. But the good news is that with orders from American buyers picking up, these workers could have their jobs for a much longer period,” she added.


According to Agoncillo, the American buyers recognized Filipino’s craftsmanship and high quality designs which makes it highly preferred by US top lingerie brands such as Victoria’s Secret and Le Mystere.


Ace Style has been in the garment industry for more than 20 years producing 3.2 million pieces per month for international brands like Victoria’s Secrets, Marks and Spencer and Dillards.

The company, which employs over 8,000 people worldwide, also has customer services and product development offices in New York and London.

Ace Style huge garment factory is located in Laguna.
