New BPO Firm Offers 900 Job Vacancies

Date Posted: Jun 25, 2009

New Business Processing Outsourcing (BPO) firm Amberbase Solutions, Inc is in the works for business expansion in Manila. But for the meantime, the company’s focus is to complete the 1,500 seats in their Eastwood City, Libis office within eight to 12 months.

Amberbase Solutions CEO David Ian Hayward says that the firm plans to build another office in Manila but refuse to give more details. He cited that the focus is to fill the 1,500 seats in Libis since the company has only 558 seats occupied.

The company is still eying to hire 900 more call center agents to fill up the remaining slots within the coming months.

Mr. Hayward says that the expansion is due to the double-digit growth that the company experienced since they take over the facility of Epixtar Philippines, Inc. in January.

Aside from business expansion, the company is now offering new services such as financial, medical transcription and other BPO work.

Amberbase Solutions also clarify that they are not associated with Epixtar Inc. which previously filed bankruptcy protection in October 2005.

Earlier reports accused that Epixtar did not give separation pay to its former employees. Claims pointing Epixtar’s failure to remit workers’ contribution to Social Security System and Pag-Ibig fund were also reported.

Mr. Hayward said that Amberbase Solutions has provided help to their employees by offering legal consultancy aside from referring people in Miami that could help track Epixtar.
