Expansion of A Call Center Company In Bacolod Brings More Jobs

Focus Pacific Communications, Inc. (FPCI) a US Based BPO Company announced that they will their expand operations by July of this year.

This move will create at least 200 new jobs as the company expects to add 165 call center seats next month. This would bring the company’s workforce to more than 450.  When the Focus Pacific Communications started its operation in Bacolod City in 2006, there were only 25 employees.

Dan Liljenquist, the president and Chief Operating Officer of FPCI is optimistic that the additional workforce will be beneficial to the company’s further growth.

Mr. Liljenquist who is also a senator in Utah says, “We believe we may be able to provide more and more job opportunity for the people in this area and help raise the standard of living of everybody involved. We take good care of our people and we have a very good reputation with our agents.”

Good compensation also awaits the new hires as Julie Gretchen B. Dizon, a Focus Pacific consultant informed that the starting salary is Php 12,000. Salary of regular employees is upgraded to Php 14,000-Php 15,000 plus other benefits.
