Nokia to Lay-Off 490 Employees

Nokia Oyj, the world’s top mobile phone producer will fire 490 of its employees worldwide. Nokia had already slashed 4,000 jobs within their organization this year.


The based Mobile Company was also affected by the global economic crisis, this was after they suffer big pretax loss from January-March. Nokia and other mobile companies are predicted to suffer a 10% loss this year if the financial crisis continues. 


A total of 170 employees from logistics, production management and production support face the risk of being fired.
