Business Districts in the Philippines

Most jobseekers dreamed to work in a corporate kind of business. These companies are commonly located in rich or key cities in our country, which commonly known as Central Business District.

 

We have several places or cities that have a business district, and where most high rise buildings and big companies are located. Here are the lists of Business Districts that most big time companies are located:

 

  • Makati Business District- The most famous business location in the . Makati Business District is a home for many established and well known businesses in the country. From call centers to banking industry, from big corporation to telecommunication, all situated in Makati. You can see high rise buildings wherever you look at in Makati, so it is not possible to get a job here. Most companies situated here are, Smart and Globe Telecommunication, Ayala Corporation and banks like BPI, PSB and BDO.

 

  • Ortigas Business District- Ortigas is situated in the heart of Pasig City. Second to Makati, Ortigas became one of the most important business districts in the country. Most call centers are located in Ortigas such as Teleperformance, Offshoring, ICT, Sitel and Accenture. There are also corporate businesses located in there are like Banco De Oro, San Miguel Corporation and Robinsons Land.

 

  • Eastwood City, Libis- One of the newest established business districts in the country is located in Quezon City. Eastwood became the favorite hub of IT Companies and Contact Centers. The location is also a plus because Eastwood is near in Cubao and Ortigas. Famous businesses located in Eastwood are Citibank, IBM, Sitel, E-Telecare, and the Megaworld Corporation.

 

  • Bonifacio Global City- If you are interested in applying in Real estate Companies, better check out Bonifacio Global City in The Fort, Taguig. Dfferent condominiums and IT business are located in Global City. Such businesses are Accenture, Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation, Deutsche Bank, Lawson Software, Fujitsu Corporation, Hewlett-Packard, Ericsson and TetraPak.

 

  • Clark Special Economic Zone- Located in the heart of Pampanga, Clark is slowly transforming into one of the biggest Business District in Luzon. Home of many export retail factories, Duty Free Philippines, BPO Companies and the Diosdado Macapagal Airport. Clark became one of the destinations of jobseekers in Luzon.

 

  • Metro Cebu- Several business districts are also located down south, mostly in Cebu. Cebu Metropolitan Area is the home of provincial offices of PLDT, SMART Telecommunications, Seaports, Retail Industries, and National Transmission Communication.

 

Several Business Districts are now being established in different cities around the country like UP-Ayala Techno Hub and Araneta Center Cubao in Quezon City, Laguna, Iloilo and Davao. In years to come, more businesses will arise in the said business districts due to the expansion of companies in Metro Manila.

 

There are so many places to find a job; all you have to do is patiently look for them. Lastly, do not just place your career destination in just one area, expand your horizon, more and more businesses are now located in provinces.
